Jeff’s journey with Mt. Prospect Golf Club began on September 7, 1994, when he joined as a cart attendant. His dedication and enthusiasm quickly propelled him through the ranks, from shift supervisor in 1996 to Assistant Professional in 1998, where he started teaching golf lessons. Jeff’s pursuit of excellence led him to earn a degree in Business Administration from Elmhurst College in 2001 and enter the PGA Program in 2002. By 2007, he achieved PGA Membership and was promoted to Head Professional. His commitment to continuous improvement was further highlighted when he obtained a Golf Course Turf Management Certificate with Distinction from The Ohio State University in 2021, culminating in his promotion to Director of Golf in 2023.
Under Jeff’s visionary leadership, Mt. Prospect Golf Club has flourished, consistently breaking records for rounds of golf played each year. His strategic approach to managing the club, coupled with his dedication to enhancing the golfing experience, has significantly contributed to the club’s growth and popularity.
A standout achievement of Jeff’s tenure is the development of our junior golf program. Designed to engage young golfers and cultivate their passion for the game, the program has become a highlight of our offerings, with each session filling up quickly. Jeff’s innovative and inclusive approach has made this program a vital part of the club’s community, ensuring that young players receive top-notch instruction and support.
